Tell me about it Ron. I can't wait for Mr. J to chime in about how he knows how to make a 4.2 harness work in a 3.6 and how much of a "hack" using a 3.6 ecu and harness on a 4.2 is, but he won't share how to do it because it is his livelihood and business. I'm still working on this rusty piece of crap urq that looks like it was sunk with the Titanic for 100 years that he sold a friend of mine. Anyway, good luck, I miss my 90 V8 I had, and my 91 5 speed, but I know they are both still in very good hands!

I would b more than willing to trade u a 3.6 motor for that old 4.2....lol ;) But all in all u want to use the 3.6 ecu and wiring harness. all so (like Ed said) use the 3.6 headers. The 4.2's had an EGR port on the end of the pass side header...... so if u do use the 4.2's headers ur guy will have to make a block off plate or the like to close the hole. All so, I used the 3.6 intake cause there is all so an EGR port on the 4.2's intake that will need to b blocked off. I used a few other bits from the 3.6 motor on my 4.2 motor as well on my 91 V8.
