I've got 1 with about 100k honest miles on it, never a problem, no
smoking etc. Engine is still sitting in the car, a silver 1990V8Q with a
rebuilt Eriksonn transmission which went "boom" like a hammer hitting
anvil only 2k miles after the rebuild. Owner was pissed (with good
reason) and I took the car off his hands. It's been sitting for about 3
years, last time I ran it was about 2 years ago.

I am currently out of the country, but will be back at the end of the
month (Boston). If you're interested, I think we can work out a deal if
you take the whole thing and pull the engine yourself. I ran the engine
about a year ago and gave it a good "winterizing" so it should be as good
as the day it was parked. I don't have the time or inclination to pull
the engine, so it's all or nothing. Sold the ECU but I can slap one in
from one of my other V8Q's if you want to see it run. If you've got AAA
gold, I HEAR that some folks will slap their existing plate on such a car
and utilize the 100 mile towing allotment, that's what I hear anyway....

Send me an e-mail if you're interested or post here, I'll be checking
both with more regularity when I get back.

BCNU,
Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes.
