[V8] Allroad anyone?

The 4.2 in our S8 performs well. The V8 in the Allroad has a timing
chain instead of a belt. I wanted a manual tranny, so when I was
shopping for an Allroad, I had to go for the V6. It's a very quick car
stock and there is lots of fuel map tuning around for even higher
performance.
Mine came with a leaking airbag ($1000 reduction from the asking price)
and I've replaced the fronts as a result. Not too bad a job. I used
Raxles for new front halfshafts to cure a pronounced vibration under
acceleration.
I installed a European trailer hitch (not visible except when the towbar
is in place) and the car pulls wonderfully. The air suspension keeps
the car level and the hitch system is rated for a 2.5 ton load.
I recently ordered a drive train stabilization bar that I haven't
installed because some jerk ran me down while I was skiing and I'm now
recovering from surgery to repair a broken leg.
Wife wants to give me the S8 and keep driving the Allroad now.
