[V8] Inner CV seal

Hey, ready to put the front end back together on the Black car so I  
can put a for sale sign on it.  I just went to the dealer to pick up  
the miscellaneous nuts/bolts that I ordered along with the front  
inner CV gaskets which I was informed are back-ordered.  I've always  
just ordered the "way overpriced" $15/each gaskets, but wanted to  
hear what other's have done before I reach for my tube of "goo", or  
spend time cutting something out.  Thanks, Tom
