That was what I understood.  I wonder what the issue was with the brakes on 
that car.  I was told at the time Audi replaced a "lot" of 5000 brakes due 
to "rotor problems".  There was absolutely no question with the brake 
replacement job either, which tends to indicate something seriously was 
amiss perhaps in that one year only.

UFO Brakes were only used on the 1991 200TQ 20V and the 1990 and '91 V8Q.


'85 type 44's had the same front brakes as every other 5K through the
model life.
