You could also opt to do away with it.  I got rid of it on the Mercyless
Diesel and the motorcycles.  You can get a modern fuse holder and screw
it to the fuse posts, you'll never have to hunt for the OEM fuses again
or worry about them getting brittle with age/oxidation.  

On the bike I used marine grade connectors and crossed it over so I could
tuck it in under the bikes fuse box.

Any decent flaps will have an assortment of fuse holders.
