And this also makes things interesting in my shop when I (very occasionally) 
get a customer in who does not want to change the fluid at 50k intervals. 
"The maintenance guide says......." I just smile and wish them the best of 
luck ;-)

I do 50K intervals at most on all of my auto's (which are getting fewer).
