[V8] Bose Radio failure

Mine did that. The radio has a wire that goes to a relay that powers the
bose amps. If the amps don't turn on, no sound. There is a small time
delay from when the unit turns on to when the amps turn on, and you should
probably be able to hear the click of the relay. It is in the panel under
the passenger carpet. Or just measure the voltage on this wire - it should
be 12V with the radio on. If that is all it is, you can hook up the amp
relay to the power antenna (assuming you don't want to fix the radio) and
it will work - you just get a nasty crack noise in the speakers when you
turn the unit on.

I think there is a wiring diagram on the radio to help you.

This is what drove me to hook up my radio power to the window retained
power relay so I don't have to always switch it off. It stays on until I
open the door. Kind of freaks out people who don't know me...
