[V8] Windscreen trims and bonded glass removal

What other options are out there when the windscreen chrome trim is destroyed during a glass out respray?

My paint shop have gone insane/greedy/cheap.  Whatever the reason, the moron destroyed the rear screen trim before actually having the replacement part in his possession- long since obsolete, but he assured me he had the parts.  The car is painted, but no trim to refit the glass. (despite numerous warnings and descriptions)

So, other than rendering a separate car useless, what are the options, if any?  Product name and source, if you would be so kind.

I'm in Europe, but will happily let the body shop foot the bill for shipping from anywhere on the globe, if that is what is required.
