Hi, DIY replacement of O2 sensors involves two chores. Breaking the plug loose
from the muffler pipe using PB Blaster spray or careful heating. I got a Craftsman
#42094 7/8" flare wrench to fit the sensor and taped up the small end. After the
car was chocked and the drivers side was on jack stands, I put a 3' section of
muffler pipe over the wrench for leverage. Don't mess up the flats by twisting the
wrench. Mechanics can't stand it when you try to turn the sensor nut and destroy
the flats.

Then, Either splice the wires and shrink tube them or buy the sensor with the 2'
wire with plug and follow the wire back under the engine to replace the new plug
for the old one. It may be a job for a mechanic, if the sensor doesn't want to break
free after a good effort.
