just some ideas , thoughts and Questions

-> the Alternator when running is putting out around 13.5V?
-> at the battery what is the voltage, with the car running?
-> is the alternator body grounded. ( i would think it is)
-> have you done a Load test on the battery? Battery could show 12.5V but be dies when loaded up.
-> Battery post and wiring clean?
-> blue exciter wire check.
-> I know with some of the later 200 there was a problem with the main wire coming off the alternator. There was a splice under the passengers floor mat that sometimes would corroded.
-> is there continuity from the alternator to the battery from the wire above?

cheers superdave
