[V8] CV joints, do not repair?

U remove the axle or u can leave it attached to the trans. Either way u have to thread the bolt back through the cv end till it bottoms out. 
 While tightening it (once it's removed from the housing) it'll pop off the end of the shaft. 

 The original bolt should b threaded the whole way. If its not u will need to use one that is or u will have a problem. 
 The bolt is just long enough to push the shaft away from the cv. So the bolt will b bottomed out. 

 U will need a vise or the like to hold the shaft. Or like I said remove the cv end from the housing.
