[V8] ' 93 V8Q - Accelarator/throttle shaft

The accelerator shaft that transmits the accelerator cables movement to the
throttle valve assembly is sticking/not returning completely therefore
causing a higher idle.  Any solutions to this issue and/or is the return
spring on the cable mechanism at the rear of the engine going?  Any
possibilities of replacement/repair?
