[V8] Bosch fuel pump

I've had some trouble finding the proper Bosch OEM fuel pump replacement. The original Bosch part number is 0 580 464 991. Most hits with Google turn up Chinese-made versions. I did however run across a pdf from Bosch titled, Cross Reference Information: Universal Fuel Pump Program. 

I found my part number and next to it (in the Supercession column) is part # 0 580 254 040 — which matches the pump I got from Parts Geek. Visual comparison shows that they're darn close, with the new one being maybe 1/8" taller. It didn't come with the big, back o-ring that goes around the casing so I'll probably reuse the old one. It seems to be in good shape. Or, I could order a new one from Audi for $70 — NOT.
