[V8] AutoCheck system not fuctioning

If I may, I need to pull from the V8 brain trust. My 1990 V8 autocheck has never worked correctly since I bought the car in 2007. When you press the red check button it will flash the Water temp check Icon and the Oil pressure check Icon. No "OK". When the fuel level gets to reserve it will beep a warning but no Gasoline Pump Icon. I took the cluster out, it would appear it has never been out, pulled  the connectors and re-installed. No change. That is the only problem with the cluster. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not saying kill all the stupid people...  I'm suggesting we remove all the warning labels and let it work itself out.
