Bob, there are two bulbs for the auto check, one for the serious items that
light up in red( low oil pressure, low power steering / brake booster ect)
the other, is for the amber lit warnings ( low fuel, low washer fluid, brake
pad sensor, bulb out) I suspect you simply have a bulb out.
