It's akin to Heroin or Meth, you need more and more, remove the air
cleaner housing if you haven't already for that Heisenberg Blue kick. 
It's one reason I slowly gravitated from 4 wheel Torsen to 2 wheel rice
burner.  Take that feeling you get in a V8Q and multiply by 10, then add
in the pucker factor when you're on a bike.
I did the Tail of the Dragon on a Ride down to Barber in Birmingham last
week,  if I rode it half as hard in the V8Q as I did on the bike, I
suspect the V8Q would have been getting around 9 MPG (and worth every
cent.)
