[V8] Switching front struts (problem solved)

Problem solved. Ron, you were right, everything fits. The culprit was the
anti-roll bar, which once free tends to spring to the outside. Since I was
trying to fit the entire assembly, there was too much resistance for me to
push the control arm into its place in the subframe. The solution was to
disconnect at the ball joint, insert the control arm into the subframe and
attach with a bolt, then re-connect everything at the ball joint. It still
took a long pry bar to force the anti-roll bar into place.
Tom, I thought about the auto-manual difference, but it would only matter if
I was changing transmissions. In this case the strut was being changed, so
assuming the wheel position is the same in auto and in manual, everything
should fit - and it did!
Thank you guys, next step is to see if rear wheels rotate (fingers crossed).
Radek.
