[V8] Replacing passenger side halfshaft

Now the ABS is acting weird. When I come to a stop the ABS shudders and
pushes up on the pedal. I must have bumped the ABS sensor or gotten it
dirty when I replacing the axle. Is it possible to permanently disable the
ABS system without affecting the Quattro system? I want it to remain off
all the time rather than having to hit the button every time I start the
car. With the ABS off the car stops just fine.
Also, is anyone watching this list anymore? I haven't heard from anyone in
a while. I feel like I'm talking to myself.
