[V8] 1990 V8 Auto Trans shifting problems - resolved

Guys,

Original problem:  Car would downshift into limp mode at about 2k rpm and
not upshift again until I turned off car and restarted.

 

After changing solenoids, wiring harness, and computer, and dropping much
money, the problem still existed.  Finally a good mechanic diagnosed the
problem as a faulty Throttle Positioning Switch.  Replace the switch and the
problem went away.

 

I hope this will help others that may have had a similar problem.
