Yes, agreed, I did too much at one time. 

A little background. I bought the car last year from the original owner and it had been sitting in his garage for about 5 years. With nothing more than a new battery and some new gas, it ran pretty well. I drove it for a month or so while I was assessing the car and compiling my "to do" list. One day coming home from work it started a weird oscillation in power as if someone had their foot on the pedal giving it more gas then backing off, etc. Power seemed so so. But I was new to the car and didn't have any reference of how it should perform.

Later it would try to die at idle but would stay running as long as I had my foot in it. The fuel pump was noisy, so I figured, since I didn't drain the tank to begin with, the fuel system was getting clogged and I should replace the filter at a minimum and probably the pump since it was noisy and likely original.

While I had it off the road, I thought I'd address some of the leaking issues and replace some seals and VC gaskets. Also figures new plugs, distr/rotors wouldn't be a bad idea.
