[V8] Lots of questions, don't hate me

And feel free to answer specific ones
So winter is coming and I want to get a couple of things done first.


Drivers seat heater is dead. I was told to switch the heater on and off to listen for the relay to see if it clicks on and off but the fan is hardwired in (more on that later) so I can't hear it if it's working or not.

I found a seat in a wrecker that is gray, my seat is black. Can the leather and foam be swapped easily on its own if the other seat is fully working?

How can a person test a seat with a voltmeter to see if the heaters etc are working?

Can someone identify exactly which relay I should be looking at/listening to to see if it is working? Where is it?


The previous owner said,rather, the mechanic said the water temperature sensor in the radiator was shot and the only way to replace it was to get a new rad. Apparently the thing is built into the rad itself. Is this true? Is there no way another one can be retrofitted? That fan was wired to be on all the time and with the stupid freezing winters that is coming I think I would rather have it work when needed. It gets stupid cold here....
