[V8] Cleaned engine now barely runs...

I have developed a oil leak that it looks like its coming from the passenger side distributer mounts.  but to make sure i gunked the motor and did some soapy hot water in the areas that were contaminated with oil. Then i sprayed it all down with the garden house and now it barely runs.     
I've got it sitting out in the sun drying with the hood open and the air cleaner cover off so the injectors and distributers can get some sun. 
kinda bummed out about it. Feels like its running on like 5 or six cylinders.  If i try to drive it it stalls. it will only barely idle at 400 rpm......
