many radiator shops have a infrared heat sensing gun now. They would
probably do a quick check for you to see if you have dead spots on your
radiator. Not unexpected (love those double negatives...) for a car this
old. If that is the case, the cure is probably a new radiator. It may just
be smart to replace it anyway to avoid the inevitable failure. Radiators
are a wear item.
