Hey, well I got in the Lago car yesterday and it would barely
start.....ran really rough then stalled. Fault code 2342 and the
Oxygen sensor is only a few yrs old and only maybe 4K. Decided to
check and some idiot(me) was too lazy to find the zip ties and the
wire was rubbing on the axle. Unfortunatly, hadn't rubbed thru
anything, so kept digging. When removing the signal wire, part of
the plastic male end broke off and was stuck in the boot. Smeared a
little epoxy on that to possibly keep it from crumbling more. Put OX
back on and started right up. Drove it all day today, and it's back
to perfect. Guessing one of the connectors was just not 100% or
slight corrosion, but all is well.
On another note, got a riding mower donated to the non-profit "Center
for Local Self Reliance" that I'm kinda involved in(promoting seed
saving/edible landscape/etc). Thing didn't run, and last owner
shouldn't work on anything mechanical. Drained a jar of water out of
fuel system, and the non-adjustable plastic Walbro carb was happy
with that and ran great. There was some kind of gauge in the dash @
some point, but with a little cutting, will make a great beer
holder. Hope all's well, Tom
