The '94 has a fan on the engine oil cooler, the '90 didn't. Also has 276 hp.

Hey Joe, well that looks shiny, and I hope you get your asking
price. Do you/anyone recall the actual number of 94's? I recall it
being a very small # like 50 or something, but that's fuzzy memory.
Might be helpful in selling the car. I know it was the low # year.
My '90 Lago was purchased in '94 and the dealer in Denver (Prestige
Audi) apparently didn't even want a '94 on the lot at the time as he
was so sick of seeing the Lago car come back repeatedly with extended
warranty stuff.....Good luck, Tom

At one time I had a spreadsheet that showed how many V8's were imported to
NA by calender year not model year. But I have always wondered how many 1993
and 1994's were imported. We "always" see or hear about 1990 and 91's being
sold or parted but when it comes to 1992 and up it gets very scarce. How
many 93 and 94's does the collective list know of that are still on the road
or parked?

I'm not saying kill all the stupid people...??I'm suggesting we remove all
the warning labels and let it work itself out.

Hey, got a call tonight from friend's son that's driving the '90
Black car that I sold him. Brake fluid was a bit low(min mark) and
he refilled it then said the pedal felt wierd while driving. I told
him to push the "Antilock" button on the dash, and then it felt
fine. Turned it back on, and felt wierd again(pulsing/spongy) To be
honest, I've only pushed that button a few times when I first got the
Lago car, and forgot it was even there till today. Anyway, he said
brakes felt awsome afterward, and I said "go with it". Having never
had to mess with any real ABS issues, not totally sure exactly what
the button does, but am guessing it turns off that ABS booster/pump
thing. Just checking if anyone's got any ideas.....The car is a
ferry ride/4 hrs of driving so I'm not gonna see the car till I go
out there in May, so trying to do some long distance diagnosis with a
younger guy who's not super mechanical, but trying. He's gonna get
it up and see if he can see any leaks from the brake system, but said
after pushing the antilock button that it felt good. Thanks, Tom

For our inventory, I have two '93s and one '92. None on the road at
this time. Lot's of parts for sale, many 90-91 specific. I need front
lenses for my accident reconstruction.

The ABS defeat button doesn't do anything with power assist. It merely
senses and defeats lockup in extreme braking.
Did he use the right fluid? Which reservoir did he "top off"?
What were the test conditions between feeling fine and feeling weird again?
I know it's tough to do long-distance troubleshooting... gotta ask a lotta
seemingly off-the-wall questions to define stuff.

Sounds like your new owner may have an abs sensor or tone ring issue. This is what causes that brick under the break peddle sensation. Disabling the abs via the abs button will resolve the issue, but if it's an automatic car, the tcu still looks at the sensors for center diff lockup. This will cause a binding sensation when turning.
