[V8] Number of V8Q's by Model Year

The stolen off the dock story may be debunked as urban myth because the
sole 1995 was stolen about 5 years later. Unless of course it was
recovered from the dock and ...... OR maybe there were 2 set for import,
and as you noted, it's brother was stolen off the docks before it made it
into the "system." Alien abduction of the car is just as probable based
on actual proof up to this point.
There have been at least a dozen listers purporting to have a 1995 V8Q
over the years, they were all mistaken except for one guy when produced a
Vin which checked out as a 1995. It's a wonder the singular model came
in, they were discounting them up to $20k to get them off the lot, the
rounded new look had come out and they were a tough sell (tougher than
usual.)
If we get snowed in again, I'll go through the saved posts on my 'puter
and archives to see if I can dig it up the posts or emails. Or it may
have been a story planted by the aliens to keep the MIB and Mulder off
their trail.
It would be interesting to get a definitive on this someday, Audi was
asked for clarification a while back, they would not divulge such
sensitive information IIRC.
BCNU,
Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes.
