[V8] Thinking about Moving On

The time has come for me to consider moving on. I love my 5-speed, but
.................
The major issue is that I've lost the ability to work on my car, and I
think it's time for it to go to someone who will treat it right! (I had to
relocate due to a job change and no longer have a place to store, nor work
on cars.) Hopefully this will change in the future, but it looks like
there's another relocation in my future, and I can't keep constantly moving
all my "stuff" from place to place.
Here's what I have:
1991 ALL Original Factory 5-speed car. Totally stock, unmolested car with
no mods! Daily driver in great shape. Engine replaced by me from the 1990
car. Engine had 112K miles - runs great. The car also has fairly new i-Pike
snows that are amazing in the snow!
1992 Automatic, NON-EGR (4.2L) Purchased to do 4.2 swap into my 5-speed
car, which I never was able to get done. Car was a running car which had
only a rear main leak. Otherwise it's a strong runner, with lots of nice
parts: H&R springs, SS brake lines, Rear S-car sub frame which added a rear
sway bar, one piece drive shaft, custom dual exhaust nicely done,
refinished OE BBS wheels. (Previous owner - our very own Allan Vega) Allan
had done some engine work: t-belt, water pump, oil pump head gaskets, etc.
I purchased the European ECU for a 1992 manual trans car, which has been
tested in a 4.2L 5-speed car to be sure the ECU was okay: it passed the
test with flying colors. I bought this ECU from Germany in anticipation of
doing the swap on my 5-speed car.
I also have two automatic parts cars, a 1990 and a 1991. The 1991 is the
sister to my 5-speed car. The 5-speed car is pearl white with a black gut.
The 91 parts car is pearl with a grey gut.
I also have a set of factory timing belt tools, and obviously many spares.
I want to sell everything as a package deal. If a few listers want to go in
together on it all, that's fine:
All 4 cars, spare parts, tools, everything: $6000.00
Hey, the way I look at it, the 5-speed is DEFINITELY worth every bit of
$3500.00
The automatic 4.2L car is DEFINITELY worth $2000.00
AND getting 2 parts cars, spares and a set of FACTORY t-belt tools is
DEFINITELY worth $500.00!
As a bonus I will also include a very comprehensive library of documents,
including factory shop manuals and lots of additional factory publications
on this model.
Not sure I really want to do this, but in my situation, it really is the
best way to go. Game On!
