[V8] Fender removal question

Hi, I am removing my fenders and have the diagram from the manual. My  
question is how to get to the two lower bolts and the ones in the  
door jamb area? Both are covered up.
Hints on how to strip the 4" plastic from the lower fender and remove  
the plastic cover in the hinge area would be appreciated. I have put  
off stripping one V8 to fix another's front end damage, but Winter is
