I believe there will always be some demand for these cars, and at least
hope this list stays alive. Parts are getting harder to find and its nice
knowing there is a group of people who genuinely care for the car. One
thing to think about though is that very few luxury cars in general with
higher miles/ needing TLC are worth much. If someone were to try to sell a
car that needs nothing, I've seen these move decently fast.
I was practically begging the guy with a 3.6 Lago in palo alto with 70K
miles to sell it too me but I was on vacation and too slow. Similar thing
happened with the 4.2 in Washington state with 90K miles. Went to see the
10K mile one in Chicago, but $9500 seemed a couple grand too much for a 3.6
and it was gone in a couple weeks. I'm so sad I missed the 54K one on Ebay
in 2007. I've been tracking the ones that don't need much- they have
moved.
