[V8] to the junk yard

Yeah, that's me. Imola is actually where I wanted to take her. However,
seeing their Facebook page with Bentleys, Lotuses, etc. I'd look silly with
a 21 year old Audi, ha. I'm up under her now looking. I removed the belly
pan and have her idling so I can try and see where this damn leak is coming
from. There's a metal line that's touching the subframe, parallel to it.
I'm wondering if 1. they shouldn't be touching and 2. that's where the leak
is coming from. I can't feel any breaks or anything. Would that be a
transmission cooler line? I'm perusing the Bentley now, but the e-book
version is much harder to browse/search through than the paper version I
have for the 5000. Speaking of the 5000, I commute roughly 200 miles a day
in her. Just out of curiosity, I did the math on the fuel mileage. Filled
up before I left, and filled as soon as I got home. Over 35mpg! Granted, I
take a way where I can set the cruise to 60 and, save for a few small towns
that require me to drop to 40-45, keep it there all the way. I was
impressed. I didn't expect anywhere near that, especially since the old
Subaru 2.2 (which I finally put down at 344K) only got around 28 at best,
on the same trip. I honestly think, of all the Audis I've had new and old,
that old 5000 is my favorite. Once I get the V8 sorted, we'll see how she
fares!
