[V8] times are a changin...

Hi,

prices are risin' and risin' over here in Central Europe. It's more or
less impossible to get a V8 in good condition below USD 7.000, good ones
sell for way more than 10.000. An A8 D2 is usually way cheaper. V8s
having a low mileage, rare extras or being a long-wheel based don't sell
below USD 15.000.

Just to give you an idea in which direction the value of those cars
develops. It's even better with the Audi 200 20VTQ - nothing on the
market below USD 15.000 for a good one.

Congrats! :-)

Bastian

I am quite happy with it but believe it or not, NADA book value for a prime specimen was $7900. I suppose I could have held out for that but the adjuster was a super nice guy and I didn’t feel like pushing any harder. I feel he already gave me a very fair price. He could not find any comparable sales so really all there was to go on was NADA and my history of work done.
