[V8] Seat Heater switches

This would be a big job. Not impossible but you need all the stuff from the Audi - switch, control unit, and the Mazda heater would have to be wired similar and have a similar resistance to the Audi. That is a lot to go through when all you want is a variable current supply. Actually (thinking out loud here...) the simplest circuit would be a variable duty cycle solid state switch (relay).
I don't think that would be hard to build and you get exactly what you want.
Read up on the LM555 timer chip. There are thousands of examples of this circuit on the web.
Your basic parts list is the 555, a few resistors and capacitors, a driver transistor, and a box to put it all in.
