I got the V8 back on the road and finally got to drive it. I drove it to my buddies house a year ago then it sat an sat. I tried to sell it to someone more enthusiastic but could not get any action at $500! So I finally got around to plugging up the radiator and driving it down to the smog shop where it passed easily. I noticed also that everything seems nice and tight. Much more so than my old V8. However there is a problem with steering. I was told it leaked but after I put some fluid in it does not seem to need constant fluid. But when turning it stutters and it seem to whine/groan all the time. I can not see any fluid flowing but there are some oil leaks especially from the back of the passenger cylinder head. So fluid in this area could be mixed with oil and not easily detected. So where should I start ? I am motivated to fix it now that its running I forgot how much fun it can be. This is a 92 with the 4.2 engine. Thanks for any help. Regards, George
