Brokered an X6M (same driveline as X5M) for a guy wanting it to tow his race car... I got to drive it 1100miles in 3 weeks. I joked with him that my thought was he tow the race car to the track unhook the trailer, and drive the X6. In the time that I had it in my possession, a guy in a supercharged jaguar cut me off to make a 360 entrance ramp. I climbed onto his bumper and actually had to back off, all the while hearing that SC Jag engine screaming. Once on the expressway I went around him like he was standing still. He tried for 8 traffic lights to prove it was bad luck. Brake stand the X5/X6M at a light, it just leaps forward and you are doing 70 like nothing notable happened.

Best SUVs I've driven, but that darn touareg v10tdi, just has so much torque and mileage, that would be a tough choice to face X5/X6M vs v10tdi...

A friend recently just got divorced and his business needed another vehicle....One that he will drive, and really didn't need to be a dedicated truck, but something that resembled a truck as the boss......Ha. He just bought a new BMW X5 3L which is something like 305hp. Since I know nothing about new BMW's had to look and the beast of the lineup has a staggering 575HP(possible race with my friend's 04 Gallardo if he still had it).....Anyway, does an SUV need 575HP?......It scales at about my Duramax weight, and certainly can pull the boat, but it's still a car that will look stupid towing my boat.....Ha. Will smoke me on the drag strip/ and possibly other supercars.........Just laughing at this....Tom_______________________________________________Audifans V8 mailing listSend posts to: mailto:V8 at audifans.comManage your list connection: http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/v8You can help keep the audifans site running by shopping at http://audifans.com/shop/
