Anyway, I have a friend that would like to sell his v8 - he is getting older and wants to part with it.  It is Pearl on black interior and it great shape.  Timing belt with all audi components done in the past couple years, along with changing oil and transmission fluid very regularly - he really spared no expense keeping it alive.  I have done lots of work on it for him over the past 7 or 8 years and I can truly say it is in beautiful shape for a 25 year old car!  Everything works on it - it has 159k miles. He is looking to get 3K for it but says its negotiable.  If you are interested, contact me off list for pics.  Thanks!
