[V8] Coming back on board

So after what I thought was going to be last V8 about 4 years ago, I am now
going to be a V8 owner once again. So I just wanted to say hello once again
to all the fellow V8 poster's. This will be my 4th V8 and umptinth Audi.
And I was hoping that black Betty may still be for sale?

Anyhoo...a little history about myself. I have been working in the auto
industry for about 15 years. I currently work as a service advisor for an
Audi dealership in Ohio, & am always willing to help with any knowledge at
the dealership level. I also currently own a '04 S4 6spd, & am on the hunt
for a C6 A6 avant for the wife & myself to use for kid hauling duties.

The V8 I am acquiring has been in the "family" for a few years now, and had
a decent service history before it was purchased. It will be getting a
fairly complete overhaul of most components, as it is going to serve as a
dd for work duty. And the last real owner wasn't much of one to stay up on
maintenance. Albeit as we all know these cars are never 100% perfect. I
will be looking for parts here pretty soon, & thank you all for the wealth
of knowledge you have bestowed upon these pages.
