You could probably fund the purchase by opening up a Go-Fund-Me account. Write up a good story — how you’ve endured all those tough Maine winters, having used an outhouse for over 50 years, having to melt snow on your wood stove to have potable water in the winter, making jerky out of Fido after he lost the fight with the bear protecting you while you were in the outhouse…  Yeah, you could get 2 shooting brakes out of this.
