[V8] Heater core/Fan

Well, got no choice at this point as 5-speed sprung a leak in core.  Have the core, just asking again if anyone's used an aftermarket fan motor.....OEM sucked from day one, so no real fear on going aftermarket myself, just wanted to hear before ordering.  Have 3 functioning used OEM one's, but since both cars need, and Lago's was replaced at 40K and now sits at 118K(68 chevy van still sports original fan and works), leaning on spending $40 instead of $120.  One of the used one's looks newer, but it aint new.  Saw is only way to rebuild brush/bearing and not gonna do that.  Winter is here and need to move on this.  Still one handed after surgery 6 weeks ago, but have shop space at a friends and need to do this while I'm not working.  I love this car why?.....Ha, Tom
