[V8] Aftermarket Window Regulator

Hey, wondering if anyone's used an aftermarket window regulator before.  Drivers one on 5-speed broke and out of the pile of regulators I've got, no working drivers.  The sliding clip that attaches to the window broke(as did the plastic slider underneath), so the crimp slips thru.  Tried epoxy putty and that lasted 2 months or so.  No "easy" way to bastardize parts from my pile of others.  Found one in Ill for $40, but they wanted $60 for shipping so that puts it right in there with NEW aftermarket.  Also, noticed the part #s differ, but was told by junkyard guy, it's the same regulator that was in the 5000'/100/200?  Any info would be appreciated....Tom
