FYIW, I recently paid $7800 for a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7L V8, 145K miles. No, it’s not an Audi, but it is a V8 AWD wagon with a switch to go into 4-wheel-drive Low. It’s a tank. It’s a wagon. We got 12 inches of heavy, wet snow we got last night. I put it into reverse and drove out of my parking space, easy peasy. 2 weeks ago I drove from NH to IL and back, 2400 miles in 4 days. It didn’t miss a beat. I didn’t wonder if it would start when I turned the key. I didn’t worry about smelling anti-freeze from a leaking core. It was quiet, comfortable, and ate up the highway miles. It’s the Audi V8 quattro wagon I wanted but with a different name plate.
