The C4 was offered in Europe with a V8. So engine mounts and the specific hoses are all "there", should any be needed. The ZF 4HP24A will bolt to and work behind the V8 as the stock trans for the V8, and was offered in the 95-97 S6 V8 (C4) platform so again parts are out there to make that all work.

The biggest question would be the clearance of the trans tunnels.
