[V8] Heater Box R&R

Hey, getting ready to do the box on 5-speed.  I've removed 3,never 
opened one and never reinstalled.  Gonna do core/fan in low mileage 
spare so it's just throw it in/have another to verify flap linkage.  
What has anyone done to replace foam seal to firewall....know at least 
one of the parts cars had nothing making it easy for 
removal.....Thinking Butyl tape bad idea for next guy (which will be me 
on 5-speed).  Any other BTDT appreciated.....Sincerely, Tom
