[V8] Oil pressure

Thanks for all your responses.

I haven't done anything with the sender yet, but I did just swap in the
original IC that I have had out for quite some time to do the resoldering
thing on. I don't remember what wasn't working properly at the time, but it
seemed to work okay now. And, unfortunately, the oil temp and pressure
gauges read similarly to the cluster that's been in there for the last
year. Still, they could both be failing in the same way I suppose.

There's a bit of history I haven't shared in regard to my potential low oil
pressure issue... at about the time it occurred, I had mistakenly
overfilled the oil and driven around for at least a day or more before
noticing the oil pressure. I did an oil/filter change right away but it
didn't seem to make a difference.

So, what do you all suppose would be the most likely damaged thing? The oil
pump? The main bearings?

The engine runs and drives great still, doesn't seem to have any unusual
noise or vibration. I feel a little bit more comfortable still running it
since I'm using Mobil1 Synthetic, but I am only driving around town and for
distances less than 10 miles at a time. Also the weather has stayed cooler
here so far.

Anyway, I feel like maybe I'm running on borrowed time with it until I
determine the real problem.
