Hi,
I've got the same problems with low oil pressure and am fairly certain it i=
s the
Intermediate bearings. Can you tell us how you got them done & how much it =
cost?
I'm still trying to figure out if this is something I can tackle myself wit=
hout doing a
complete rebuild.

Shawn,
It depends on which model you have but you may be able to remove your front=
motor mount and lower the engine so that the intermediate shaft clears the=
frame rail. Pull the accesories and timing belt, then the intermediate sh=
aft pully. Then the seal flange and the vacuum pump. Look at the slot on t=
he vacuum pump that drives the oil pump and check for wear. The intermedia=
te shaft pullls out. In my case the the front bearing had spun of after be=
ing replaced by my rebuilder after 2K miles. The rear bearing was fine so =
I was lucky. To get the rear bearing out/in looks like the oil pan, and pu=
mp need to come out.
Good Luck,
Dave
