[Vwdiesel] finished, no start

Yeah, I think most of the cranking went to this.  I have verified fuel
at the injectors, as I pulled the leaking one out and re-torqued it.

Wrong term. :)  Yeah, I know this is just a port for hooking in a dial
indicator.  It doesn't have a washer at all, this might be my issue.
