[Vwdiesel] Rear brake trouble?

  200 mm sounds familiar but I don't remember if that's pickup or rabbit.
There are self adjusters that drop when the brakes are applied.  If they're
in wrong, spring not connected or you adjusted the cables before they
fully dropped, then you'd have to tighten more than is correct.  Wrong
e-brake cables would cause problems too but Rabbit cables won't reach
and you're likely to notice of a washer was missing or such.
