  I'd guess the heater to take 300 to 400 watts.  You'd need overkill on the
inverter, also my luck with inverters is if you run close to max then you
need
FULL voltage going in to get full output.  This means the alternator running.

Also think about how many amps that battery can put out for however long.
A little ohm's law should tell you how long you can run the heater without
alternator input, but the output will drop as time goes by so the heat from
the heater will also.
