  For those lines you want the yellow striped injector hose.  It seems like
it is 5 or 6mm.  (Mercedes is one mm smaller.)  If it doesn't have the yellow
stripe it will probably be vacuum hose.  Vacuum hose will work, for a while,
and until you once pull one off and put it back on.
  The bigger return hose that Scott needs is 8mm, I think.  I got some from
the local import parts place and it worked fine.  It was just the stock,
cloth
covered universal hose as far as I could tell from looks. He guaranteed it
for
diesel and it worked fine.  They're independent and heavily VW so they know
what they're doing most of the time.  :)
