[Vwdiesel] Can somebody tell me about Quantums?

I had one, they are front wheel drive. They are very similar to an AUDI
model, I believe the 4000. The one I had was a great car, reasonable
power (according to the specs and experimentation, it would break
100mph), good mileage. It was just an all around good car. that
endorsement leads to the question, "why did you get rid of it?" It had
an unusual "e" transmission and no one would work on it. The automatic
transmission is one of the few part s of the car that I do not feel that
I can work on. I searched for about a year for a replacement
transmission and finally gave up on the car. The only car that I feel
comes close to replacing it is my Mercedes. If you can find a Quantum
in good condition and at a price you are willing to pay you will will
have a great car.
